Tutorial Pack or Custom Audio
Stay with the built-in Tutorial Pack for the first session, then load Custom only with audio you created or have permission to use.
Current for Free Browser Edition v0.6.1.
The first session already has a pack. Stay with the built-in Tutorial Pack until the second round. Open Custom only when you have clips you created or have permission to use.
Why the first pack is built in
The Tutorial Pack is a short set of prompts. It teaches record, retry, and playback without asking you to find files. Mira stays the host. The pack does not replace your voice.
Leave after the second tutorial round only if you already know those three actions. Skipping earlier usually means you have not seen retry and playback yet.
The first-session steps live on How to Play. This page only answers which pack to hold.
When Custom is worth it
Custom opens a browser file picker. It does not create a public library and it does not upload the files to an account.
Use Custom after the tutorial when you want your own lines, a friend’s permitted recordings, or audio whose license allows this use. A small group of short clips is enough. A huge unsorted dump makes the session slower.
To name and level those files, follow How to Prepare a Voice Pack. To judge whether you may use a clip at all, read Voice Packs.
What this site will not hand you
| Pack | Use it when | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Tutorial Pack | You are learning the buttons | It is already in the game and stays short |
| Custom | You already have permitted audio | The picker only loads files you select |
| A third-party dump | You do not have rights to the files | This site does not host or collect those packs |
Recordings stay in this browser. Clearing site data or switching browsers drops both Custom files and saved takes.
FAQ
Can I start on Custom and skip the tutorial?
You can, but the Tutorial Pack is the faster way to learn retry and playback.
Does Custom keep the files on a server?
No. The picker grants this browser access for the session. There is no account folder.
Will more packs appear after I play for a week?
No. The public game does not grow a community library. New prompts come from audio you add through Custom.
